CONCLUSIONS
It was a very good year for the Rye Grass heifer business.
From a productive point of view, individual weight gains (72 kg/cab) exceeded expectations, this was due to good grass production, partly thanks to favorable weather conditions.
On the other hand, there were no deaths or sick animals, this is partly due to the good quality of the calves that were purchased.
Analyzing the business from the perspective of the market, the rise in calf prices was higher than inflation in the same period.
